Difference Words

Dalam bahasa Inggris ada dua kata yang dikenal sebagai difference words yaitu other dan another. Other dan another digunakan untuk menunjukkan sesuatu yang lain, berbeda atau sebagai penambahan.

Sebagai determiner, other dan another diletakkan sebelum nomina.

Another digunakan untuk singular nouns, sedangkan other untuk singular maupun plural.

Contoh:
- There are other jobs you could try.
- Where’s the other packet of cereals?
- Is there any other bread?
- I’m going to have another cup of coffee.
- Buy two CDs and get another completely free.
